Meet the Team
Jess Zhou
Director, Student Wellbeing
For over five years, Jess has dedicated herself to guiding international students through their academic journeys in the UK, from GCSE to A-Level. Her extensive experience includes supporting students' mental health and well-being and boosting their academic confidence.
Jess holds a BA in Criminology from Durham University and an MPhil in Criminal Justice from Oxford University and more recently completed an MSc in Child Development Psychology from UCL. Her career switch was informed by a desire to have a more direct and positive impact on young lives by intervening earlier in their educational and developmental stages.
Her commitment to supporting children and youth well-being extends beyond her professional roles, as she has spent many years volunteering as a mentor for young people across the UK.
Sarah Jin
Director, Student Enrichment
Sarah has always understood the value of sports and activities in fostering mental health and personal development. As the former captain of her university basketball team, she knows firsthand how engaging in sports and activities can connect individuals to others and create a sense of community through shared goals and interests.
As a peer supporter at UCL, Sarah has assisted numerous students in managing feelings of overwhelm and anxiety by helping them find a healthy balance between work, study, and personal life—a key to long-term well-being and success.
With an MBA in Educational Leadership (International) and almost a decade of experience working in international education exchange and partnership, Sarah is well experienced to develop and offer a wide array of life-enrichment programmes, experiences, and opportunities for students.
